Steve Ouimette is an American Composer/Artist/Producer for video games, television, movie trailers and streaming music.
Since 2007 Steve’s relentless drive/obsession has made him a go-to composer for the unique and challenging project. From composing 17 bespoke national anthems for 2022’s “Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, to narco corridos for Ghost Recon: Wildlands, to a throwback 70’s/ 80’s soundtrack for Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare (Zombies In Spaceland) to forensically accurate re-recordings of hits from the 1940’s to modern day tracks for the Guitar Hero and Just Dance franchises, Steve has taken on the eclectic and come out relatively unscathed…and with a smile.
Steve has released dozens of albums of original production library music for APM, BMG, Pop Machine and Atomic Overture that have seen tens of thousands of placements since 2009. He is a regular music contributor for the eternally popular CBS game show Let’s Make A Deal, and in 2020 he was commissioned by the Marquee Sports Network to compose, arrange and record the official theme for the Chicago Cubs. In 2022, Steve refreshed those themes again for Marquee and the Cubs.
Steve holds a B.A. in Music Composition and Performance from Cal State East Bay and yet after all these years nobody has ever asked him to show the paperwork.
When he’s not making music, Steve is making tools to make music. He’s an avid tube guitar amp builder, FX pedal tinkerer, guitar builder & collector, and virtual instrument library creator (including the 13-year running “Cinematic Guitars” franchise with Sample Logic). He lives with his wife and six cats in sunny Scottsdale, Arizona.
